Toilet & Faucet Repair
Running toilets, weak flushes, rocking bases, and dripping faucets fixed with quality parts and an upfront price.
Serving Rockwall, Heath, Rowlett, Garland, and east DFW.
Straight answers on toilets & faucets.
Toilets and faucets fail in predictable ways, and we fix them predictably well. A toilet that runs is usually a flapper or fill valve that has outlived its seal. One that rocks has a failed wax ring or loose closet bolts. One that flushes weak may be clogged rim jets or a low-flow design fighting a clog it was never meant to fight.
Faucets are similar: a drip is a worn cartridge or stem, and a leak at the base is an O-ring or a body crack that decides between repair and replacement. We carry quality cartridges, flappers, fill valves, and supply lines on the truck, so the repair usually happens on the spot, and when a fixture has reached the point where replacement is the better buy, we price both and let you decide with real numbers.
Signs you need this
- A toilet runs or refills on its own
- A weak or double flush
- A toilet rocks or leaks at the base
- A faucet drips, or a handle grinds
- Water pooling at a faucet base or under a sink
- Supply lines or angle stops corroded or stuck

We'll inspect your toilets & faucets, lay out both options in writing, and you pick. No pressure, either way.
Winterization
Freeze season is when pipes burst. Winterization is how you skip it.
When water freezes inside a pipe, it expands, and the pressure between two ice plugs splits the pipe, often inside a wall, under a sink, or in the attic, where a burst runs until someone finds the shutoff. A single burst pipe can do thousands of dollars in water damage in an afternoon. The fix is cheap and routine: insulate the exposed lines, protect the hose bibs, and disconnect every garden hose so the faucet can fully drain.
That is exactly why winterization is included in the CLEAR Care Plan. Members get it before the first freeze every year, right alongside the annual whole-home inspection and water heater flush, at no extra cost. Non-members can book it as a one-time visit.
What your winterization visit covers
- Insulating exposed pipes in the attic, garage, and along exterior walls
- Protecting every outdoor hose bib with insulated covers
- Disconnecting hoses and confirming each faucet drains properly
- Checking vulnerable runs in older homes and new builds alike
- Walking you through your main shutoff, so a surprise never turns into a mess

Questions about toilets & faucets
Why does my toilet keep running?+
Almost always the flapper or the fill valve. Both are inexpensive parts, and we replace them with quality versions rather than the thinnest ones on the shelf.
Should I repair or replace the faucet?+
If it's a quality fixture, a cartridge or O-ring usually buys years for a fraction of replacement. On builder-grade faucets with body cracks or corrosion, replacement is the better buy. We price both.
My toilet rocks. Is that serious?+
Yes. It means the wax seal has failed or the bolts have loosened, and every rock works on the seal again. We reset it properly with a new ring and shims where needed.
Can you install a faucet I bought myself?+
Yes. We install homeowner-supplied fixtures and warranty our installation. If the fixture itself turns out to be defective, we'll tell you straight and help you sort it out.
How long do these repairs take?+
Most toilet and faucet repairs finish within an hour. A full toilet reset with a new wax ring, or a faucet replacement with new supply lines, runs a bit longer.
Common plumbing questions
How long should a water heater last?
Most tank heaters serve 8 to 12 years in North Texas. Annual flushes stretch that; sediment and hard water cut it short. If yours is past 10, we'll tell you whether repair still makes sense.
Why is my water pressure low?
Usually a failing pressure regulator, a partially closed valve, or mineral buildup in older lines. We find the cause on the first visit and give you the price before touching anything.
Where is my main water shutoff?
Typically on the line entering your home near the water heater or along a front exterior wall. Every adult in the house should know it. We'll point it out on any service visit, free.
Is a running toilet really costing me money?
Yes. A flapper that doesn't seal can quietly waste hundreds of gallons a day. It's a quick, inexpensive repair that usually pays for itself in the first month's water bill.
What actually counts as a plumbing emergency?
Water you can't shut off, sewage backing up into the home, or a suspected gas leak. Those, call immediately. Everything else can usually wait for a scheduled visit with an upfront price.
Does hard water damage plumbing?
Over years, yes. Scale narrows pipes, wears out valves, and shortens heater life. A whole-home approach or regular flushes manages it; we'll show you what your levels look like.
